Founded by Åžükran Ünal, SRT Legal Consultancy offers high-quality legal assistance for businesses, institutions and individuals, and helps them achieve their professional aspirations and expand their operations overseas.

Before initiating the international aspect of her career in Belgium, Åžükran Ünal gained various professional experiences at the public sector and judiciary in Turkey. After graduating from TED Ankara College and Ankara University Faculty of Politics, she started her professional life at the International Relations Department of TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey). Here, she performed as an assistant expert, being in charge of many EU-funded projects and assuming significant roles in promoting international scientific and technological collaborations.

She received her second bachelor’s degree at Atilim University/Faculty of Law and graduated with distinction. She then fulfilled the internship Ankara Bar Association’s internship with success, by taking active roles in reputable law firms. In 2014, she succeeded in the judiciary exams and continued her career as a judge. Because of her language skills and competence, she was selected to represent Turkish Justice Academy and Turkish judicial system before the Italian court and the Judicial School in Florence, Italy (within the AIAKOS Project).
She performed as a judge at the Cassation Court of Turkey between the years 2016-2021 and thus, gained vast knowledge and expertise regarding the domestic legislation, case-law and application of the Turkish laws.

She combined her knowledge of national law with international laws, case-law and practices by participating in seminars all around the EU. In 2018, she attended the high judicial summit held in Istanbul as a representative of the Cassation Court of Turkey and gave presentations about the Turkish legal system to judges, prosecutors and chief judges coming from various parts of the world.
After her master's degree in public law, she was entitled to the EU-funded Jean Monnet scholarship through which she studied a second master's degree in International and EU Law at Ghent University. After graduating with high honor degree, she was offered academic and professional positions, as a result of which she continued her career in Belgium at an international scope. She now provides legal consultancy services to individuals, international law firms and institutions mainly in Belgium and Turkey. She also contributes to seminars and workshops as a speaker at national and international platforms.

She is glad to offer high-quality services by combining her long years of experience in the public and private sector with her network connections developed in the meantime. She knows the fast-growing and rapidly changing dynamics of business life and tailors the need in that regard, while also considering the unique structure and bureaucratic procedures of the public sector she has experienced for many years.
​
She is also passionate about human rights and some of her articles on gender equality and combatting violence against women have been published in Belgium. She attaches great importance to voluntarily participate and take a role in activities and actions that can somehow contribute to the education and well-being of girls and young women.
